Another Slice?

Hi there. It’s been a while.

But here’s the thing - there’s so much music out there. What, you didn’t think this was all over, did you?

It seems the opportunities to talk and write about experiences with classical music (or maybe not even classical!) are endless. There’s so much to consider - listening to those forgotten, underrated pieces and the great masterpieces. From performance experiences, little insights and stories to reviews and opinions. Yes, there’s a lot to say.

Hello.

That’s where this blog comes in. Like before, I want to talk about pieces of music, and introduce the world to hidden gems while celebrating the greats. But there’s so much more out there!

And THAT… is where you come in.

I’m busy curating a set of beautiful pieces of music to write about for you, but I need your help. Are there any piece of music that you really love? What’s so special about them? Do you have any stories to tell about them?

Do you have any opinions about classical music? About pieces? Do you play music yourself? Do you have any stories you’d like to share? Anything you’d like to discuss? Have you seen any performances or heard any recordings you’d like to review, or see me review?

SO MANY QUESTIONS. But fear not, we have a whole year to go on this journey together. Just drop me an email to contactbenjaminpjackson@gmail.com and we’ll get started. There’s a handy section of this website you can click on to send me a message too - and I’d really love to hear from you.

And for those of you who just want to read - sit back and relax. Help yourself to another slice. It’s bigger, better, and with slightly new and exciting fillings and gluten free options. I present unto you, dear reader, A Slice of Musical Cake 3.0.
